A collection address needs more than a postcode
An item bought from a private seller or shop needs to be ready at the agreed time. Confirm who will be there, where the furniture is located and whether it has been dismantled. Share any collection conditions before arranging the journey.
Describe what is needed at the destination too. Delivery to an entrance differs from placing a wardrobe on an upper floor. Loading, unloading and carrying requirements should therefore be explicit in the agreement.

Small transport questions
Can I have just one sofa transported?
Yes, you can request transport for a single item. Dimensions, photos and access information for both addresses are needed to assess the journey.
Can you collect from a private seller?
You can request that. Make sure the seller agrees to the collection time and that the handover is arranged.
Can transport take place today?
Explain how urgent your request is. Availability and feasibility need to be confirmed; same-day transport is not a standing commitment.
What needs transporting?
