Request the lift with an operator. Share photos of the building, window or balcony and the space in front. Identify obstacles and the floor involved. A photo alone does not confirm that the lift can be positioned there.
Coordinate access and use of the space around the building in advance. Discuss who will check any necessary permissions or arrangements. The assessment must take account of the positioning space, required reach and suitability for the items.
